Website builds

Custom website development for mission-critical business.

Websites and web apps for companies that run on them: client portals, enrollment and checkout flows, CRM-connected lead capture and the automations behind them. Built, secured, monitored, and someone's job to keep running.

When a launch has to go right, you bring in the heavy artillery.

Most websites are brochures. If one goes down for an afternoon, nobody notices. These are not those sites. Ours take the enrollment, the booking, the payment and the hand-off into the systems that run the rest of the business.

So they are built the way the business depends on them: reliable, secure, and with every workflow behind them proven before a customer touches it.

Is this for you

Not for every site. For the ones that can't fail.

We take a small number of builds at a time, for businesses where the website is infrastructure. Here is how to tell which side of the line you’re on.

Built for

Businesses whose website is part of how the business runs.

  • Sites that enroll, sell, book or onboard, where a broken form is lost revenue that day
  • Sites wired into a CRM, payments, email automations or a client portal
  • Launches with a date that cannot move
  • Migrations off a platform the business has outgrown
  • Teams who want a named person accountable for security, uptime and updates

Not built for

Good projects, and a better fit for a template or a freelancer.

  • A brochure site you will set and forget
  • A personal blog or a hobby project
  • A new logo on the same template
  • The lowest quote on the table
  • A project with nobody on your side to make decisions
What we build

Websites that do the work, not just describe it.

Custom website and web application development, from the first page to the integrations behind it.

  • Custom websites

Built from scratch on a modern stack, fast on a phone, with every page prerendered so search engines and AI assistants can read it.

  • Client and customer portals

Logins, dashboards and documents behind real authentication, with each client seeing only their own data.

  • CRM and automation wiring

Every form lands in your CRM with the right tags and starts the follow-up, onboarding or enrollment that comes next.

  • Payments and memberships

Stripe checkout, subscriptions and members-only areas, with the payment events tested end to end, not assumed.

  • Redesigns and migrations

Off a page builder, Wix or Squarespace without losing a URL: every old address redirects to its new page.

  • Care after launch

Monitoring, updates, backups and fixes, under a plan with a person you can reach.

Before and after

The same launch, built two ways.

The usual build

  • Forms that email an inbox nobody watches
  • Plugins stacked until an update breaks the checkout
  • Spam bots filling the CRM
  • Launch day, a handoff, then silence

A Heavy Artillery build

  • Every form posts to your CRM through a server-side spam check, tested before launch
  • A lean codebase you own, with nothing installed that the site does not use
  • Security headers, bot protection and least-privilege keys from day one
  • A named owner after launch, with monitoring and a maintenance plan
tested end to end before launch
Every form
checked on phone, tablet and desktop
Every page
redirected on a migration
Every old URL

How it works

Four phases. One owner.

The same deployment model as our automation work: nothing is built before it is understood, and nothing launches before it is proven.

  1. Step 1: Audit

What the site has to do, what it connects to, and what it costs the business when it fails. Written down before anything is designed.

  2. Step 2: Architect

The stack, the data, the integrations and the security model, planned around the work the site does rather than the theme it wears.

  3. Step 3: Build and prove

Built in stages you can click through. Every form, payment and email is tested on the real services before launch day.

  4. Step 4: Launch and own

Deployed, monitored and maintained. When something needs attention, you already know who handles it.

Questions, answered

Who is a Heavy Artillery website for?

Businesses whose website does real work: it enrolls clients, takes payments, books appointments, feeds a CRM or starts an automation. If a broken form or a slow checkout costs you money the same day, it is for you. If you need a simple brochure site or a blog, a template will serve you better, and for less.

How much does a custom website cost?

Every build is quoted after a scoping call, from what the site has to do: the pages, the integrations, the logins and payments, and who maintains it after launch. We don't sell template sites, so if the budget is for one, we'll say so on the call.

Do you build on WordPress, or something custom?

Whichever fits the job. A custom build (React, Next.js or Astro, hosted on Cloudflare) is the default where speed, security and integrations matter most. WordPress is the right call when your team edits pages every week. Either way you own the code, the hosting account and the domain.

Can you redesign or migrate our existing site?

Yes. A migration starts with an inventory of every URL, form and integration on the old site. Every old address gets a permanent redirect to its new page, and every form is tested end to end before the switch, so your rankings and your leads carry over.

What happens after launch?

Someone stays responsible for it. We monitor the site and its forms, apply updates, keep backups and fix what breaks, under a care plan with a named person you can reach. A site that runs your business should never be a handoff and a goodbye.

Do you also build the automations behind the site?

Yes, that is the other half of Heavy Artillery. The forms on a site we build can enroll people straight into CRM workflows, email sequences, onboarding and reporting, and we run those automations too.

Have a site that has to work?

Tell us what it has to do and what it connects to. You'll hear back from a person, not a sequence.
